Code

• jonerix — A self-hosting, GitHub-built Linux distribution assembled around permissively licensed userland components: musl, OpenRC, LLVM, mksh, and Rust and toybox replacements for the GNU core utilities. Bring-your-own-kernel — Linux itself is GPL-2.0 and sits outside the permissive-userland promise — and the repository documents its remaining exceptions, including the Mozilla CA bundle (MPL-2.0) in the core image. 0BSD.
• jmake — A Rust implementation of GNU Make, written without consulting the GNU Make sources. It passes 598 of 906 sub-tests from the GNU Make 4.4.1 suite and builds jemalloc and Valkey unmodified; recursive MAKEFLAGS propagation, chained implicit-rule search, .INTERMEDIATE and .WAIT are not yet supported. MIT.
• nloxide — A Rust reimplementation of the subset of libnl-3 and libnl-genl-3 that hostapd and wpa_supplicant use on the nl80211 path, written for a distribution that bars GPL and LGPL runtimes. Derived from Ghidra decompilation of the Alpine binary, with no libnl source consulted. Not a general replacement for arbitrary libnl consumers. BSD-2-Clause.
• sha256-armv8 — A SHA-256 library for macOS on Apple Silicon: the compression function in AArch64 assembly using the ARMv8 crypto extensions, with a C wrapper for the one-shot and streaming API. A fork of jocover/sha256-armv8, which states no licence terms of its own — a gap the README flags for anyone planning to redistribute. GPL-3.0-or-later. [archived]
• colderCall — A lightweight cold-calling tool for teachers: import a roster (CSV, Aeries export, manual entry, or Google Classroom), pick students at random, record outcomes, stored locally in SQLite. No account and no subscription. Runs as an Electron app, a self-hosted Express server, or a Docker container. AGPL-3.0-or-later.
